I am a woman who is driven by many things to create a permaculture eden on her three acres. Hi my name is Micki and I live in the beautiful state of Michigan.  I own a business in alternative health and I have become increasingly alarmed at the state of the food we are expected to consume.  I have been buying as much organic foods as possible, but that isn’t always easy. We live in the country and the nearest Whole foods is an hour and fifteen minutes away.  Also with the ever increasing cost of gas, food prices are going through the roof.

Searching on the internet one day I stumbled across a video on permaculture and was intrigued.  After more searching and lots of reading it just felt right to me.

We currently mow most of what we own and that is plain stupid!  My husband was born and raised on a farm and has no interest in anything that even looks like farming.  Although he will help me with some of the heavy lifting,  I am basically on my own.  Which by the way I kinda like!

While looking around I found lots of stuff about established gardens and farms, but nothing that starts from the beginning.  Not that there not out there I just couldn’t seem to find them.  So I decided to do something very radical for me , start a blog!  I hope you find this blog useful and even entertaining at times and please leave a comment or two so I know your out there!
