Zone two and counting…

October 6, 2012

I worked a good bit of the day in zone two today. A cool and blustery day perfect for digging and mulching!

This is my fedge that I completed today. A fedge is a cross between a fence and a hedge, a living fence, cool huh. I made mine out of willow, but I am told you can use other plants like forsythia. I am hoping it will afford me some privacy. I dug a swale behind it to catch some water because willow likes it moist and it isn’t very in this area.It just looks like a burm with some twiggs in it, but just wait till next year!Image

I am tired but very happy
